The second module covered multiple topics that explored processes pertaining to cartography, map production and geovisualization. The first topic explored the advantages of GIS maps over traditional maps using GIS-based visualization. Additional topics discussed representing attributes and spatial objects, scientific visualization, and advanced methods for improving visualizations. All of the processes in this module were incorporated to show processes that will allow for the design of more impactful and representative maps.
