Query and Measurement

The third module covered topics that pertained to query and measurement.  The topics in this module include querying views of GIS, advanced queries, and querying for measurements.  These topics were designed for users to have a better understanding of how to perform more efficient queries.  This section discussed the differences in shape files, layers, raster data, etc. and how to understand the attributes within.

Additionally, this section discussed using measurement queries using spatial analyst tools, including aspect, raster calculator, slope, greater than, less than equal and Euclidean distance to assist with site selection.
